　　2018年6月1日下午，科技部党组书记、部长王志刚出席了在钓鱼台国宾馆举办的第二届“龙门创将”全球创新创业大赛中国区总决赛并致辞。“龙门创将”发起人、英国约克公爵安德鲁王子，中宣部副部长、国新办主任蒋建国，中国人民外交学会会长吴海龙，全国工商联副主席王永庆，北京市副市长阴和俊，以及来自中英两国的企业家、投资人、专家学者和中英创新创业者等近500人出席活动。

　　王志刚部长在致辞中表示，推进大众创业、万众创新是中英两国科技创新合作的重点领域，双方有共同的目标和合作基础，将继续推进科技创新合作，深入落实科技创新合作战略，在基础研究、创新创业、产业培育等方面广泛合作。中方将支持“龙门创将”全球创新创业大赛在中国扩大影响。王志刚部长还指出，中国将以更加开放的姿态、更加良好的环境欢迎英国及全球各地的创新创业者，促进科技项目、资金、人才等各类资源在全球流动共享，为世界经济和社会发展做出贡献。
