　　6月20日，科技部部长、党组书记王志刚在京会见了到访的香港特区财政司陈茂波司长一行，双方就加强两地科技创新交流与合作、推动香港科技创新发展等议题进行了探讨。

　　王志刚部长对陈茂波司长半年来第二次到访科技部表示欢迎，同时高度赞赏特区政府重视科技创新发展所采取的系列举措。他强调，中央政府一贯高度重视香港的繁荣稳定，一直把香港创新力量视为国家科技创新体系中的重要组成部分。习近平主席一直牵挂着香港的发展，对香港24名两院院士呈报的联名信件做出重要批示，要求促进香港同内地加强科技合作，支持香港成为国际创新科技中心。科技部贯彻落实中央对港工作大政方针、认真落实习近平主席重要批示精神，把发挥香港科技创新资源优势、支持香港成为国际创科中心作为对港科技工作的重要内容，全面推动内地与香港科技创新资源融合，大力支持香港科技创新发展。

　　陈茂波司长在会见中感谢科技部多年来对香港科技创新发展的支持。他指出，科技部大力推动实施中央财政经费过境香港支持科研活动的措施，在香港科技界引起强烈反响，对进一步促进香港融入国家创新发展大局起到了积极促进作用。他表示，为激发香港科技创新热情，特区政府在2018-2019年度的《财政预算案》中预留超过500亿港币支持香港科技创新的发展，聚焦在生物科技、人工智能、智慧城市和金融科技四大领域。最后，他希望与科技部继续深化合作，推动香港经济社会繁荣稳定发展。

　　科技部资源配置与管理司张晓原司长，基础研究司叶玉江司长，港澳台办公室叶冬柏主任、徐捷副主任，创新发展司吴向副巡视员，中国科学技术交流中心陈家昌主任、吴程副主任，火炬高技术产业开发中心张志宏主任等陪同会见。香港特区政府驻京办事处傅小慧主任等陪同到访，香港中联办教科部刘志明副巡视员出席会见。
